removing BOTH cats

ok, here in minnesota, no one checks for emissions or that crap, and the front cat on my driver side rattles bad. wat is your guys opinion of cutting out both cats, before the O2 sensor and the after-cat one, and putting a piece of flex-pipe in there? its a 97 f-150 with a 4.6

And with a 1997 you dont have two cats, you have 4, unless your trucks cats were modified in the past. No cats sounds awful imo.

ya i know theres 4 i meant both on each side, sorry. but the rattling is horrible, and its gonna have glasspacks. i was just wondering if you guys thought the flexpipe would work, cuz of the weird bend the 1st cat makes

i guess you could, but when i first got my super 40 flowmaster on i got him to cut the first cats off and he just used his skill and bent the pipe to fit that mean curve
