Dynomax opinions?

I had a the Magnaflow 16612 installed but removed it because it was a little too loud for the family while towing and I like the low end torque the OE muffler gives so as of now the stock exhaust is back on.
Well it's just to damn quiet so I am thinking of just doing a muffler swap. Those who have had Dynomax, what do you think of them? Would the Super Turbo muffler be quieter and help retain some of the low end torque due to the baffles? Since the Ultra Flo is of similar design to the Magnaflow I am thinking it is probably about the same sound etc...

So how do they sound compared to a Magnaflow? Which type am I better off with? Should I just get a longer Magnaflow muffler? (I did like the sound of the Maggie)

well if a maggie was to loud then you shouldnt switch to a dynomax then, looks like your keepin the factory muffler, that or tell the family to suck it up and listen to her rumble!!!

i like the sound of dynomax exhaust but my friends 85 f250 had true duals with the dynomax bullets and blew the baffles right out after about 3 months and the welds were all rotted and it was just a mess. i like the way imco's universal mufflers sounded. they are throaty and they sounded similar to and a little quieter than the magnaflows. and if you do exhaust again then make sure the tips go out the corners or straight out the side or else you will have a loud rumble inside when towing. if you have the pipes going straight out the back then it echoes back to your rear window and sounds like its about to blow out.

I wouldn't go dynomax unless your looking at the Bullet, which is really loud. Look into the 24" Magnaflow.

Thanks for the info on Dynomax. I guess I'll stay away from them. I think I'll just order up a longer Magnaflow and swap it in place of the OE muffler. I did like the sound of the Magnaflow and hopefully the longer muffler quiets it down enough for the rest.

I like Dynomax products. I have an Ultra Flow cat back on the girlfriends Blazer and it sounds real nice. I also have a couple of Super Turbos on my Mustang 5.0, it sounds good too but it is a little too quite for my taste so I will be switching it over to the Ultra Flows down the road at some point.

My dynomax was okay. But it completely rusted out and fell off my truck. I'd stick with a Magnaflow.
