i hate waiting...

Well my magnaflow high flow cats are here after a mixup in the shipping. They sent the wrong ones to the shop thats installing them for me. The worst part is that i have to wait until tomorrow morning to have them installed. Ive been waiting a week for them to get here and now these last few hours are killing me. Im pairing the high flows with my 40 series flowmaster so ill have sound clips of that after the install.

Tell me about it...

I ordered a bunch of stereo equipment last week/earlier this week, planned on installing it this weekend. Unfortunately the package that contains all of the wiring isnt going to be here until monday....

I waited 4 months to be able to afford my Silverado's old exhaust ( Super 44 true duals ) I bought the mufflers, 2 months later i was able to get my tips, and a month later I had the extra couple hundred for installed. So feel lucky yours is just a week. My F150 took me a couple months, I'm doing better money wise now, paid my truck off, and its saving me alot more on gas than the Chevy, but I still got it done, took much longer than that though. I wish I could get an exhaust anytime I wanted.

Also right now i'm waiting to get my rear cat converters cut out, been waiting 3 weeks for my friend to get his sawzall, so also feel good that theres a shop willing to change your cats

Yep the 6.0L. 2005 2500HD. It got bad mileage ( 11 - 12mpg ) cause it was a 3/4 ton, weighed 7000lbs, 4.10 gears, Flowmaster true duals. Never made more than 340 miles a tank with it. My F150 is making over 500 per tank, 16.2mpg. Just about the same as a brand new 5.3L. When driven right with a free flowing exhausts Fords can do as good as the 1/2 ton Chevys on gas.
