Can you fit a 5.0L Roush Exhaust on the 5.4L motor?

Hey Guys,

New to the forum, I just picked up a '10 F150 with the 5.4L and 6.5 ft box. I wanna switch out for a cat back exhausts, I'm having trouble finding one for the long box... Came across a deal on the Roush 5.0 L exhaust, wondering if they are compatible? If anyone else has tried this set up yet? Is there alot of retro fitting involved?

Thanks,
Darekr

I put that same exhaust on my 2006 lincoln mark lt truck and all I had to do was move 2 of my hangers a tiny bit and the exhaust fit perfectly. It's stupid loud tho but I also have stainless works long tubes with their h pipe and hi flow cats and a roush charger so I'm sure that adds to the noise Lol.

Hey,

Thanks for the info, I did grab it and have it installed, the same was the case for mine, 2 hangers, it turned out great and sounds amazing, My neighbours do find it real loud too... Probably not as loud as yours with the long tubes and the hi flow w/h pipe... I could only imagine how much louder that must be on the cold start... Gates of hell opening...lol

Anyways,

Thanks for the help!

Hope you don't annoy your neighbors. How do you like the sound?

I'm sure it will be fine with the neighbors now that I don't leave at 6 am with the cold start waking them...

With the stock manifolds and Cats I find the sound is just what I was looking for. its a bit louder then I thought but it's definitely puts a smile on my face when I start it up.

With everything you have on the truck what do you think on the sound? The 5.4L 2010's up north here have a common problem with header leaks so when it comes time. I was thinking of upgrading to Stainless Works Long tubes with the Hi Flo Cat's... Would you recommend it from your experience?

Bralgar, Prormk800 installed it on his 2006 Mark LT with only needing to move 2 hangers so it should fit your 07 with a little modding to the hagers... Mine was installed by my mechanic that did the full install including the few mods in less than an hour...
