Cut muffler off

I cut my muffler off to make it louder. There is no emmissions tests where I am. I was just wondering If getting a exhaust spout that points down where the exhaust ends under the truck would be safe.

Don't idle in the same place to long, that exhaust will just be hitting the ground and coming straight back up.

I doubt that you would like the sound if you don't run it out the back.

It sounds really good, I'm just wondering if it's ok for the truck and ok for me haha.

Yup, if you're dumping it below the cab those fumes are still going to rise up. Some will get deflected off, but not all. I'd at least run an extension past the cab so it dumps under the bed. And adding a turndown is really going to change the sound in the cab, the sound will no longer be projected behind you but instead at the ground and reflecting back up at you.

If you want the fumes to exit past the cabin, you could run an exit before passenger tire to get the sound projected and fumes out. Otherwise you still could keep it turned down under bed no worries, but it will get more quiet.

If your doing turndowns just make sure that they go past the cab of the truck..a recommendation of mine would be flowmoster super 44 and bring it out in front rear tire. They sound just as loud and nasty as no muffler but provides you with the back pressure your going to want
