Can i do this and not have complications

I have a 97 f150 lariat w a 4.6 v8. Can I run new pipes from each manifold back w/o cats using 2 flowmasters and 2 1/2" out the back corners w/o damaging engine or having any issues as a result? Do I need to do any mods to make this a smooth transition and I know its illegal to run w/o cats .
Thank you all in advance.

That will kill your low end torque. All it will do is drastically increase the noise level.

Keep a set of cats on it, run a single exhaust, to a straight through performing muffler, with dual exits for twin tailpipes.

No cats will run rough unless tuned for it and running proper mods ( turbocharger ) and true duals are a performance waste unless your blown and needing air flow ).
