New Magnapack Vids

Cold start...first thing I notice with the Magnapacks is alot of popping on a cold start with quick revs, but once everything warms up there's almost no popping, just mean barking! I just wish my cam had better audio...it really is a treat in person. VERY aggressive sounding. Definitely a head turner.

Getting into it just a bit...short drive, little bit of goosin it This really is my dream set up. I'll get a better vid up soon though, showing from a 10-20 roll with a quick tap on the gas, and gettin ito it real good. I was doing that alot tonight...gas mileage is now half of what it was

Yea man! They sound amazing on that 5.4! I love the way it sounds going through the range. Is it tuned? If only I knew how these things sounded, I would've been had them on my truck. I really think this is the BEST muffler for any car/truck head!

I totally agree. I have heard some amazing Borla Pro XS and even some nice Dynomax Bullet vids, but I truly think I have heard that many more incredible Magnapack vids. And I am SO happy with what I have now. It's amazing when you are cruising, right in that 1800-2000 rpm range, the drone zone (which I personally don't mind, she ain't a daily driver), rolling slow, maybe 20-25, and you give it a quick tap, WOW does it wake up! I mean LOUD!!! It was awesome, tonight I was cruising down the strip in Nashua, NH, and a guy with a mean sounding Harley pulls up next to me at a light, hears my idle, he revs nice and loud, so I gave him a little back...he smiled and gave the thumbs up Cool deal. I really need to get a drive by vid up tomorrow...I just saw a vid here of a blue 2011 5.0 with the Magnapacks, he had a cold start, take off and then a few drive bys, and it sounded mint, and it's amazing how similar my 5.4 and his 5.0 sound. Just pure aggressiveness. BTW, no tune yet, no intake either, just the high flows, x-pipe, 4x14 Magnapacks and double wall tips. I need to get some body work done next, but after that's taken care of, I'm almost definitely going to add the OBX LTs, S&B intake and tune. (not 100% on the S&B, was originally thinking Roush/Airaid but am torn between the oiled and the dry, hear good and bad about both, but that's another post.....!)

Sounds fantastic!

Are the packs very similar to the Borla S type muffler?

Yea, I've heard Borlas & Dynomax's too on a couple of guys trucks on here & I think they sound bada** too, very good! It just boils down to a personal preference! You can't go wrong with either 3 imo. Im gonna do some nice fly-bys & Cold starts vids this weekend! Thats cool that a Harley gave you that Was it the Supercharged model? Or the body style like ours? Or the new 6.2s? Im very happy with mines too! Yea, it gets drone-y at times right in that range & doesnt bother me. Only time it does is when Im on the highway & I put it on cruise. My truck is my daily so I know which range to keep it in to make it shutup & be silent but like you said with a little foot action, its almost like you turned the switch open with electric cut-outs! And wow man, that 5.4 pulls nice stock. I can only imagine it with a Troyer Tuner! I saw that vid. of the 5.0 also & I think yours sounds better..HONESTLY! & dude, that thing is gonna scream w/those OBX LTs! Have you heard FatherFords vid. with his LTs & Magnaflows? Holy BLEEEEEP! & I think I wanna do a AFE Stage 2 intake. Don't really have time for the "Gotts Mod" deal, but as you say, save that for a different thread!

Excellent sound man. I would have ran those if I had not got the killer deal on the Bullets I ran on my last truck. Almost decided to run them on my current truck even.
