the new exhaust.

Just a quick update vid of the new exhaust. Flowtech headers, duel 2.5" pipes, flowmaster 40s, and turnouts in front of the rear tires. only lite revving due to courtesy for the neighbors of my grandparents house.

mufflers are painted with high temp paint that I originally was gonna put on the headers. didn't end up that way though.

I'll post more vids in the next few weeks. Tell me what you think.

haha its crazy to see such an old truck. So your tips are turned down? It would be louder and sound better, not that it doesnt already, if you extended them out from under the truck.

I'm surprised to hear you say those mufflers sound good, granted i think you are more lenient than the rest who are against flows.

Anyways there are about 14" or so of pipe after the muffler and turned out towards the front of the tires. It's kinda hard to tell exactly where they are in the vid I know.

Also surprised i've only got one response so far. I've complimented numerous members trucks/exhaust and none of returned the favor.

Sounds great. Flows always sound awesome on old carb'd vehicles. Consider an X-pipe after your headers to equalize your flow and get maximum exhaust scavenging. More power and it'll sound even better.

Yea I considered the H-pipe but there really isn't any room for one in there. I'm sure if i had the pipes redone and a little more even as in the same on both sides, I could have one made.

And thanks guys glad you like it!
