Who's tips are you talking about? Mine, someone elses? Be a little clearer please.

Did you ever post a sound clip? I would love to hear one, that is the setup I'm considering for the Expy. Debating on headers. How loud is it? I'm not looking for anything too obnoxious.

Also, that muffler has the Tru-X core. With that, do you need an x-pipe too? I thought that core eliminated the need for it?

Not doing cams till I switch to a built block. Given it a lot of thought but this motor is already being pushed hard enough. I also thought about cams and then switching them to the built motor later. But my fear there is that when this one blows it will somehow damage the cams. That would be my luck. And yeah I love Borla!! Had those on my SHO.

It's pretty loud. Not bad in the cab at all but outside it's loud as hell. Before the headers it wasn't to bad though. I hope to get a sound clip soon.

Truck looks wonderful twinskrewd! You don't see to many SUPERCABS fixed up nicely & fast at that. The Side-Exit looks great too. Job well done. Are you going to go with a built 3V 5.4 & what are your plans powerwise? O, how nice would it be to go with a new built 5.0 4V Coyote in that thing The drop looks very good to. Lowered is a must on these Supercabs if not 4 X 4! Hate the OEM stance. Keep us updated & where's the vids?

Can't beat Flowmaster

In my opinion for bang for the buck you can't go wrong with Flowmaster. I have the Airaid CAI and that combined with the Flowmaster SI/DO cat back makes it sound like my truck has ********* of it's own. Don't get me wrong it's not 20 year old punk loud, but the tone and the throaty growl are so F'n awesome I've been driving around with the stereo off for a week just to hear it!

I'm new to the site, I got my 2010 Screw a year and a half ago and I've SO used this forum all throughout for ideas and how to's. It's so awesome to have such a network!

To date I've put in my 1,000 watt Rockford amp and built a customer 10" box that fit's under the back seat, I've done the 2.5 front auto spring level and the 1" rear (which you can do 35's on but I think the Toyo A/T open Country 33.5's look better). I've done the Airiad CAI and Flowmaster (obviously) and the USB2 mod, the door chime kill mod, the mirror reflector to signal mod (tinted as well) I cut out my grille and put in the Grillecraft MX mesh grille, I put on the Truxedo Lo-Pro Qt, PIIA xtreme white headlights and Silver Star Fog lights. And I started every one of these projects which of course I did on my own, which I think makes us even closer to our trucks (that sounded gay, but you know what I mean) by looking at this site. Thanks everyone for your threads and for sharing the sweet mods you've all done to make the most bad *** vehicle on the road even more of a one of a kind. If any one has more Ideas for mods big or small, I'd sure love to hear 'em. My favorite garage past time is just making my ride different from everyone else's every way I can!

P.S I don't have any recent pics since I did the level, but I'll wash it up and take some soon.

Flowmasters are crap. A chambered muffler is no good for performance or flow. Just makes noise. Been there done that and won't ever do it again. Magnaflow and Borla for performance and sound.
