Quick question regarding an intake

I just installed a K&N drop in cone filter. Do I need to disconnect the battery and reset the computer to take full advantage of the mod?

Thanks, I'll go ahead and do it. Besides, all of my radio station presets suck anyway.

Same one that I got? Just the drop-in replacement filter inside the stock air box?
