With stock cats no. With out cats or high flows yes. If you want the best sound with stock cats, cut them turn downs off!

yessss. you have duals? put it out the side before the rear tire, if you can (duals dont allow for a lot of room) or put it out the back each side 45 degrees with 3.5" or 4" x 12-18" tips

neg. you dont want that hot air going straight through under the truck. turn downs TURN DOWN the hot air.. :cool
having the stock cats or high flows doesnt change whether or not you should re route the system. out the side before the rear tire will be the loudest but some nice drone. out the back 45 degrees each side will sound very good, maybe about 10% quieter than side exit, but limited drone.
Adding tailpipes and tips will better guide it to the outside of the truck where exhaust belongs, sounding better. Adding tips hidden under your truck will still change the tone and make it louder and sound pretty good, but even louder inside.
