Deleting The Back Cats

Hey guys, i have a lifted 02' f150 5.4L FX4. I was wanting my exhaust to sound alittle more throatier if you know what i mean... Right now i just have the stock exhaust piping with a dumped flowmaster 1 in 2 out. I was wondering if i were to take the back cats off of my exhaust and replace them with the same size piping as the rest of the exhaust and put spark plug foulers inplace of the 02 sensors(which does trick them).. Will it make my exhaust sound like that crackle and pop sound or will it just make the exhaust deeper sounding and meaner? I also don't wanna loose any low end tq either.. Let me know what you guys think, thanks!

im wanting to run 2 cats instead of four on my 99 f150 i just wanna know which o2s to keep front closer to engine or rear and wha will happen if i just weld a bung in place in pipe and place o2 sensors in em.. i was gonna run 2 maggies high flow round spun cats instead of the 4 usual cats.. will it cause problems if i just run 2 o2 sensors on true dual setup or do i have to keep all 4 o2 sensors and why? i just have a edge evo tuner and its not a gryphon..

Would deleting the first set of cats and gutting the last ones with the non foolers be good? Ive heard gutting them makes the exhaust sound deeper, and i already have flowmaster 40 on my system

Gutted cats will interrupt velocity pressure killing your low end & high end. Running pipe through the gutted cats to look legal or run pipe inplace to retain energy.
