if you want ill weld it for you, my welds can't look any worse than theirs

you can always grind down the welds to get it smooth and looking decent.

There is no way it just fell off, hard to say what they used to cut it off. Funny as hell either way though

Man that sucks.. I got home from a party late one night, standin in the drive chattin on the phone and glanced at my truck and noticed my tip was hangin bout 5 inches off the ground.. I figured a weld had broken back up the pipe and the whole thing was hangin down.. but it was just the tip.. turned out the weld holding the tip to the pipe had broke somewhere and the only thing holding the tip on for the 30 mile drive home i had was the weight of the end of the tip hangin down keeping it on the pipe.. I just lifted the end up and it came off in my hand.. I just took it to the shop the next day and he put it back on for free.. I know the guy real well though so I get stuff cheap..

my bad man i didnt think youd notice..... but i have been looking for a black tip like that so i had to chop it off when i saw your truck sitting there.....

lol, no but really during the county fair here, that is a common problem. Kids walking around the lot with a battery power sawzall.....

and btw i think it fell off too....
