Thinking about a new setup, have questions.

Right now I have a si/do 40 series flowmaster straight out the back and Im dying for something better.

After lots of looking around the forums I think I want to go with a true dual setup consisting of Maggie Hi-Flows, X-Pipe, and the Dynomax Bullets.

I'm asuming I would want 2.25" piping and the Bullets be 2.5"? And I was thinking about goin 45 behind the tires instead of straight back, any thoughts on this and maybe tip suggestions?

45 out the back might be a little louder in side the cab. I would go with a at least 3.5" tips for a deeper growl. Check EBAY for X pipe. They have knock off magnaflow for $30 shipped. They look exactly the same. I would also go with 2.5" duals for a deeper sound as well, but that is just my opinion. My truck has 2.5" and I have no issues with torque at all.

Wrong.. you dont get bigger diameter mufflers than the intermediate pipes. Stick with 2.25"

2.25" true duals will perform well and have great low end torque, 2.5" wont, but will perform better in WOT and be a pinch louder.

If you spend alot of time racing go with 2.5", or if you dont mind a little low end torque loss and want a pinch louder note. After putting heavy 33s on i regret going 2.5", so consider future modifications, towing opportunities, and your driving habits.
