Made a quick video of mine. Its a few clips of different things mashed together. The second clip that states the windows are down is a lie, they are indeed up. I believe that is the 3rd clip all together.
Hey guys, i'm thinkin about cuttin the muffler out of the exhaust before i save enough for a new roush offroad exhuast which is sure too come soon but I am deciding to do this to pass the time lol.. should i buy pipes to continue the exhaust out from under the truck after the muffler is cut out or just leave it? and if anyone has done this and has pics or sound clips it would be a great help. Thanks
Mate it to the stock tip, if you just leave it as is without a muffler your economy will go even further south, and it will be overly obnoxious inside.

Congrats man, great to hear you have riddened some drone.
Sounds great man! Is it just me or has our 14" muffler become extremely popular lately? Also, it is becoming more widely available on youtube now

Here's a MBRP SI/SO. Love this exhaust. This was taken by one of my girls with a really cheap camcorder. There's others of the sound under my username.
I wonder if it's because I never was around to hear it being discussed. I would really like to see Borla make the Roush off Road muffler just as a muffler. I wish there was a way to get them to do that.

Call and offer them $300 for it an I bet you could get it, but $300 just for a muffler
That's crazy... I want to get that muffler for my next truck after college. That would sound awesome, but for the muffler price, I would just get the kit and have it all welded and bend 45*

This thread came with perfect timing being that I'm lookin for a different exhaust setup. I read a few other threads to get some info and advice for some advice from a couple members individually but I thought I would try here. Currently I have a flowmaster single catback exhaust. However I want to switch it up to the single catback duel rear exhaust. The Flowmaster sound is good but not enough for me. I want deeper and louder. I like the sound of the SLP Loudmouth 1 but I can't find a setup with the rear dual exhuast, just the side exit. SLP makes the Pureflo system with the look I want but it's a little pricey, especially since I would be swappin the muffler for the loudmouth resonator pair (I'm almost positive I read from the SLP website that this is doable and easy). But these "resonators" aren't really mufflers are they? They look like pipe with perforated metal cylinders inside. I haven't seen anything that says they are 50 state emissions legal (a concern for me since I am in California). But even if they aren't I could always swap them out for a smog legal muffler. I was thinkin about buying a less expensive exhaust system with the dual rear exhuast and swappin the muffler out with the loudmouth resonators. It seems all I need is a system with the same diameter piping as the inlet and outlet of the resonators. Any thoughts/suggestions?
If you find a muffler that suites your needs, you should get it and then bring it too a shop. They could fab up a set-up for you and it would probably save you some $$$ instead of buying a kit.

i live in cali too and my system is a perfect cali exhaust. if u want duals i would go with 2 dynomax bullets, i have a single 3" that i just recently 45d out the rear to cut down on the drone. u can get 2 bullets from summit racing. ull need an X pipe with it, and exit it however u want. with everything installed (labor, piping, tips, x pipe, and mufflers) ull be at around $300-$350. thats what i would do if u want loud and deep. the loudmouth resonators are loud but raspy.
