Man we snagged a decibel meter from work and held it up to my exhaust. It was idling at 105db. Sadly revving maxed the meter out so we couldn't see how loud it really got.

Really? Thats impressive. So your idle is about the same as a Flowmaster is, or a little more? Thats impressive for a true dual. Usually true duals have the quietest idles.

Glad to know my exhaust is worth something. We had been driving for half an hour so it was a warm idle, too.

SLP LM1 If I can get my hands on a DB meter I'll see how mine compares. I'm also not sure if the LM1's count as a muffler..They are listed as resonators from SLP, and let me tell you there is no 'muffle' to them

My videos tell ya that, its plenty loud under throttle or during cruise. It just has a lazy warm idle. Thats the only downfall I see to it, but thats mainly the fault of the modular V8 cam.

My startup is enough to wake the neighbors at night, and crusing by going up the hill at 2000rpm is pretty loud too. I'd say its and 8 out of 10 on the straight pipe compare chart. And my mufflers have 16,000 miles burned into them so they're not fully packed.
