You will have a very hard time making the 2v's run lean. You could but an 8 inch intake on and as long as its still going through the stock MAF it wont run lean.
run pressurized air through besides the rad for a ram air effect -this will affect the air-fuel numbers on a 97-03 2 valve

I disconnected the battery b4 the staart . Retry disconnecting the battery wait 1/2 hr. Then try otherwise foloow the wires back from snockel maybe you unhooked or pulled a wire off.

whens the last time your truck had a tune up? could be a fouled plug or a cop starting to let go. all the lines are tight? including the one on the back of the intake with the little black box on it?

All the lines seem tight. Haven't tried a tune-up yet. Only had it about a month. I never really thought it would needne with only 50000 miles but I guess it is possible. I really don't know much about these newer engines with all the electronics on them.
