Would have taken me 15 minutes to do, but I lost the 3 inch coupler I bought, and had to go to Home Depot to get another. Used a floor model Belt Sander to do 95% of the shaping, and then used a Random Orbital Sander to clean up the edges that were still rubbing. Fun Project, had the bug to buy a CAI, gonna stick with stock intake now.

Took about 2 hours worth of dremeling the pipe to fit it correctly. All i need now is a decent filter and it'll be all done.

yup, no CEL, even if you don't reset the ECU (unhook the battery for a bit)

I recomend resetting the ECU though

Didn't notice any thing really, but I had all ready had the K&N filter since I got the truck. My tires are too loud to notice any difference in sound while driving but I can hear a difference just reving it up.

Cool mod for the money, and I'm hoping for some MPGs maybe.

This is a great mod. Definitely feels stronger on the top end. The hardest part was just time consuming. Getting the pipe to fit into the fender. I did this mod, removed the silencer, and put a K&N at the same. I am very glad I did this mod. Totally worth the $13!!
