The write up says to jam the pvc pipe into the fender 2". After I filed and dremeled away on that thing, I probably wasn't even halfway. So I just got it in far enough to where it was sturdy, and wouldn't shake lose.

Oh okay , gotcha . That mod also makes it easy to remove the intake in one piece. Whether you run 2 -3 different set ups or if it's time to do some work on the motor, - two connectors and a clamp and she's out.

Hestitaes and cuts out

Hey guys dont overlook the throttle body on your trucks, it must be kept clean of sludge . Just take off tube and look inside at throttle plates and ou will probably see residue on throttlebody and throttle plates, it needs to be cleaned properly. This can affect cold start, idle quality, surging and hesitating. Be carefull what product you use to clean it with, read the can and make sure it is compatible with throttebodys because some products like carb cleaner can damage the finish on it. The cleaner can be put on a clean rag and used to wipe out the throttle body. BG 4068CC throttle body cleaner works excellent on this. Suprised you guys have miised this. Give it a try you will be supprised.

I found that using a hacksaw to make the cuts works fine then instead of sanding i used the hack saw to make straight down cuts into the pipe instead of sanding! it worked great and only took like 20 minutes!
