I forgot about this thread!
It's been a while and the excursion has grown BIGGER! It's still running a little lean but I am going to take some advice from the lightning boys. I don't want to get rid of the headers so Borla sent me a pair of venturis to neck down the headers as they attach to the Y pipe. I have a 255 lph fuel pump to install to replace the Kenne Bell 'boost a pump'. I am also getting rid of the KB fmu and installing 42# injectors with the custom Diablo chip.
Here is a couple of recent photo's!

I'm wondering if the demo on Excursion owners indicates an older or more conservative person than Expedition or F150 owners. That might explain the dearth of modded Excursions. I have yet to see one Excursion on the road driven by anyone under 40, or an Excursion modded beyond a set of mudflaps.

Just so happens we do the same thing ( camp ) and have 4 kids and just picked up a 00 X with the 7.3 to tow the camper and haul the rats around...

I know my wife WILL NOT drive the Excursion. Apprently hitting shopping carts in the Walmart parking lot is easier for her in our Freestar.....

8 hours of stuck fun. that is a 35" under water.....
towing all the fun toys!
...not the best thing to see on your 7.3 excursion... blown head gasket!
my F150 looks fun sized next to my buddys excursion with a 6" and 35"s
Flexin out in the back yard.
The white one is a V-10 and the black one is a 7.3 when the V-10 blew the trans we swaped the lift to the black one.
