2004 Ford Excursion. 4x4Diesel (Eddie Bauer)

Can anyone gimme the dirt on this years excursions?
It has the 6.0 Diesel with approx 96k miles. I've heard some scary things about the 6.0, any truth to any of that?
This truck looks very nice and it should do much better in the snow than my F250 4x2.. Ha

Anyone know what kind of mileage I would be looking at with this engine?
Thanks

Some 6.0s had trouble, come didn't. I've owned an '04 with the 6.0 for about a month. No problems reported by the previous owner, none for me so far. We've gotten 16-17 with it so far. Its a sweet ride, roomy and large. Its not a minivan but if you're used to a truck you'll love it.
