Remove Fuel Filter 02 Xcursion

I need some assistance on removing the fuel filter on my 02 Xcursion. I have found it on the driver side.. but when I try to pull the fuel line to release it... feels like I am going to break it...

Any help would be appreciated..

Harold

Are you using a spring lock tool to release the spring lock? I find it works better to insert the tool and then push the fuel line toward the filter to loosen it up before pulling it away from the filter. I also spray the spring with some WD40 to loosen-up the connection some before starting to separate it. It has been relatively easy for me since seprating the connetor using these methods.

GOOD LUCK!
