2005 Limited Excursion

I am trading in my '03 Eddie Expy, for a '05 Limited PSD Excursion.

Anyone here own the Limited Excursion, any thoughts about it?

Anyone put 22" rims on one?

I have a 2004 Excursion Limited 4x4 V10. Love it! We liked the Limited interior to that of the Eddie Bauer model. Our only regret is not getting the PSD. Gas is a killer with this thing, and as a result, it's parked. The 2005 PSD Limited is very very nice. Would love the 2006 F-350 20 inch rims, but I hear that they don't fit. The stock 16's look a bit small. Good luck!

Very nice.

I am hoping the dealer can locate a black limited for me tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed.

Why wouldnt the 20" rims fit?

I sure will. Let me know what you find. As far as the 20's are concerned, I think because the backspacing is different as a result of the 2005/2006 Coil spring setup on the Superduty's. Perhaps spacers may work.

I noticed you have the Gibson exhaust on your Ex. How do you like it? Did you notice any improvements in power or fuel mileage and how does it sound compared to stock? I am trying to decide between putting exhaust or doing electric fans as a small performance/mileage mod.

BTW, other than the low gas mileage I am extemely happy with my 03 Limited 4x4 Excursion. It looks just like your 04 except I don't have the travel mirrors.
