I heard that Ford may produce that, and I heard that it also might have a diesel.

There's a buttload of them. I heard that it's possible that it will be built on the Escape platform with an optional V6, but then I heard they're also thinking about building it n the SD platform with a diesel. I'd love to see it go into production with the PSD, sign me up!

it may or may not come back.

The 2 dr Explorer was discontinued as it was not selling. The old Bronco was discontinued becasue it wasn't selling.

The only way we will know for sure is in 4 months when the Detroit Auto show tells us whats for sale in 06.

I hope that if ford does make it, it will be a true truck with a body on frame chassis and a good ol lever in the floor 4wd. This concept to me is no true offroader - it's front wheel drive like the escape, which sux if you are going to use it for something more extreme than driving down a dirt road.
