I take it rumors of the death of the Excursion have been midly exaggerated.

Anyone know what the differences/upgrades on the 2005 are? I see they changed the grill, but am curious as to what is new on the inside.

Nothing. Well, for resale of previous years that's actualy

Grill, lights etc. in the front is all that's new. At least until a 4x4 hits a dealers lot to confirm that they are not getting from coils. No power increase in the Ex. 6.9 PSD either. Super Duty will get the bump in power later in the year, to compete with Cummins currently at 600 lb's and GM /Duramax coming out with either 605 or 615 for the 2005's in production now.

Interesting 'spy' pictures. HA! Those were taken from the fence line at KTP. They're certainly not hidden.

I'm 99.9% sure that I saw one on a truck heading west on I-64 yesterday.

Actually, I think it was pretty much a 'done-deal' but then Ford started to see a rise in purchases and thus, decided that the death should be postponed. Or at least that's how I understood it...

Awesome Shots!

Looks as though the 2005 Excursion is taking on the super duty look for 2005. Mean towing capacity with that 6.8L V10. Love to know where the sourse was to these photos.

There's one one eBay right now. There are some pics of the inside to give you a good idea on what it looks like.
