Question drain plug

I have a 97 f150, 4.7 small v-8, I'm going to flush the radiator.

Where is the drain plug on the engine?

Thanks in advance.

Tony

Cool

If you're looking for the drain plugs on the block itself, they are supposed to be on the sides of the block. I've read on this board that the passenger side one is impossible to get to. Just the driver side is reachable.

I've not done this myself, so can't say for sure how hard it is to get to. When I flushed out my system, I just ran a 'million' gallons of water through it. Until it ran clear out the rad.

The rad 1 is on the bottom the drivers side I think, there is a fitting to slide a hose onto then open the valve it will take a .5 hr maybe little longer to drain the rad put the hose into a jug about 1.5 gallons will come out don't how to drain block
