dtc code?

whenever i run the test using the ignition and odometer button, i am getting DTC 0950. i checked the list of dtc codes and didn't see this one. its a 05 4.6 f150. also i changed the plugs yesterday and installed a new set of motorcrafts, whatever is called for. also, i cleaned the MAF using MAF cleaner. the whole time i had the battery disconnected and didn't forget to hook anything back up. it may be my imagination, but the truck does seem to respond better and it seems as though the tranny shifts a little better and the TC doesn't seem to lock/unlock as much. does anyone know what this code means or am i crazy. also it wasn't there a couple of days ago it would say DTC NONE.

I believe I was corrected by a qualified tech when I stated that you can read out the DTC's that way. Apparently those are not "P" codes.

That is the instrument cluster diag mode that's being entered, it will not output OBDII codes...only codes related to the IC....are you sure it is a 0950?, I can't seem to find it in any of the DTC charts.

From another forum:

What you did is get a code from the instrument cluster- it is not necessarlly a code, but information on certain settings from part # to serial # to ammout of memory to final build and test date of the cluster.
I also read a thread where the cluster had to be replaced to clear it. That person had some other codes with it too.
