Studder Problem

I have a 1999 F150 4.2L V6 with 150,000 miles. Anytime I am to go over 1800 RPM starting off the engine studders. Sometimes the AVS light comes on. Any ideas?

Yeah, its a very noticeable. The only time it does not run rough is when I go VERY easy on the acceleration.
