Replacing PCV valve
Assuming its the same deal as the 4.6:
Look at the passenger side valve cover, towards the firewall past the oil fill neck.
You should see a hose coming from around the back of the engine that meets a fixture with a 90 degree elbow on it that goes into the cover.
Clean around the fixture, pull it up and out and remove from the hose. This is the PCV valve.
Push the new one onto the hose and back into the valve cover.
Done.
Very easy.

no expert, but it allows blow by gas to reenter the combustion cycle to maintain a steady idle... gracious, i think i just responded to 5 post, people are going to get tired of seeing my name on the board... :0)
