2007 f150 oem remote start install issue - secure lock
Hello, new to the group officially.
Installing a oem remote start on 2007 ff150, extended cab.
Purchased from ford, however limited information given with purchase. I have the correct wiring diagrams and believe all is attahced to the correct wires.
Issue i am incuring is after the programing feature is completed, when i attempt to activate the remote push button with the securelock system, it fails.
I get the dreaded 1 honk. I have replaced the secure lock module (ford warrantied thank you), with no positive results.
There is 12 volts to the red wire coming out of the main remote start module going to the securelock bypass module (small black module), so i know we have power there. I complete the following sequence as directed with no positive results:
1. Close all doors all lights off
2. Insert key 1 turn to on, wait for led on dash to go out,
3. Immediately turn off, remove and install key 2, turn to on wait for led on dash to go out.
4. Remove key and press the run button on remote fob twice within three seconds, the following happens:
1. Horn honks once, lights flash
2. Doors lock
3. Horn honks once, which indicates the securelock did not pass
4. Vehicle goes in to theft mode will not start with keys, until times out
any assistance would be helpfull. I have been through several other threads on the is forum with similiar issues, but have not found a solution to this specifically.
As you can see from the attachments there is some conflicting information on the bank 1 and bank 2 options. I look forward to hearing from the group and look forward to contributing in the future.
Thanks again.

First - you need to know the remote starter installation is complete and works. You do this buy holding the key backwards to the ignition cylinder to get the transponder close enough. Then press the remote start button and see of the truck starts. If it does then your install is correct.
After that - throw that bypass away and get a good one. Those Ford bypasses are junk and fail. I have a pile of them I've taken out over the years. Go get a Fortin EVO-KEY, iDatalink ADS-TB or xpresskit PKTX. Those are proper data bypasses that do not rely on a mechanical 'connection' for the Securlock.
Verify your install first then work on the bypass. It sounds like the remote start install is not complete. Did you hardwire the tach? If not do that as well.
If you want the complete install manual send me an email address. I'll get you the pdf
