ok so i have a 1998 f150 xlt swb with 5 speed 4.2 and the 4.2 blew (barely runs) so i came across a 2001 lightning complete body was rough so i bought the chassis just pulled of lightning bed and body and sat mine on the lightning chassis.
everything went good until i encountered pats. i i used my column and ignition not knowing about pats (first time body swap)
so i have installed the original ignition with pat sensors, ecu and wire harness were intact on chassis so plugged that all in. im otw to pick up the gauge cluster, now knowing i will need that to complete the pats circuitry. my question is...
will the wire harness in the 4.2 cab have the correct plugs to wire in the pats my ignition didnt have the black ring around it just the small blue sensor. so the black ring must hook to the gauge cluster but if theres not a wire on harness for the pats ring sensor will it relay the code to the ecu?
