The power windows on my 1997 f150 driver and passenger power windows go down but wont go up I replaced drivers side window switch and its still the same checked the motors in both doors and they are working fine replaced selanoids and still windows go down but wont go up if I reversed power the windows will go up I don't know what else to look for please help.

 

Easy test to figure out where to look.

unplug the power window motor pigtail, and put a meter on it.

Press the up button, is should read VDC
- might be + or - depending on the motor lead placement. Note the polarity.

Press the down button, the meter should have the reverse polarity VDC value as the up test.

If this test correct, the issue is from the motor to window mechanism.

What solenoids" did you replace ?
