2004 - XLT - No Horn after the Game

I am quite ashamed of the following, but last week during a high school game. I left the game excited because of a winning streak. We all left blasting our horns throughout the stadium. Out nowhere, the horn stopped working. No clicking sound or anything. Completely Down! I verify the fuse boxes, but I cannot identify the correct fuse for the horn. I was wondering if anyone could assist me with some guidance to resolve this issue. I need to pass the state inspection, and the horn is a must. Any help will be appreciated it. Thanks.

The owner's manual will have fuse and relay locations. If you don't have it, you can download it.

Horns DO go out and stop working . . . Could just need a new one. I had to replace one on my old truck.

Easy enough to test - pull the wire off the horn and hit it with a jumper from the battery - if the horn blows it's fine. If not, fuse/relay/burnt wire time.

Yeah, actually, because we have a twin system of one high tone and one low tone, I'd suspect it's electrical.

I'd try what glc said, I doubt both your horns are blown at the same time..

But if they are and you need new horns I'd look at the PIAA horn kits. I have a set on mine and there much deeper, louder sounding. Im very happy with them. The oem horns are just mehh..

Thanks TG

Thanks TG, I will take it into consideration. I have wanted to change the horns regardless, but I just wish this is not an electrical issue.
