Flash to pass does not work, high beams work and low beams work

I searched the forum (and the web) for this issue but found nothing. Multiswitch, fuse, or wiring? Any ideas? 04 XLT Screw. As always thanks for any contributions!

Time to test the MFS.

Fuse #40 feeds both the low beam, and the coil for the high beam relay.

This is the 2006 EVTM, there are a few connector changes, but the basic layout is still the same

This may be a novice question, but I'm a novice so here goes. How do you access those wires to which to press a bulb tester?

What I meant was once you have a wire in hand, where do you place the tester? Do you have to cut open the insulation and press it to the wire?

Before taking the column off, I would also like to know how well the wires in front of you correspond to the ones on the diagram. I do appreciate your input.

Then, say you find a faulty wire. Can that be repaired or do you have to replace a bigger component such as a wiring harness?

If all wires test out, can you please confirm that means it's the MFS.

That is testing the MFS switch itself, not the wires.
