Looks a much improved version of the Scanguage, and I like the price (right now)! Hope they can keep the cost down in the future.

How fast does the LCD update? Is is ultra-instantaneous or every 1/2 sec or what? That's one thing I wish the ScanGauge did better was update quicker (RPM wise especially). The auto-fillup feature seems nice. I doubt my truck supports it, but I wonder if it can still read the fuel level? I hated manually entering it on my SG2.

$77 shipped. I'm temped to buy one. Help convince me! (My ScanGauge II was stolen a few months ago, I don't want to pay $150 for another one.)

it updates about every 1 sec. To set up fuel you put in how many gallons. We dont have fuel sensor we have float's so it can only guess by avg mpg's.. its really close. to have it back at full you have to go through a menu. and then hit fill up. than its back at full.

So far it seems to be almost dead on. I like it.

damn, same thing with the SG2. it was always a pain because I rarely ever "fill up"

Is it window mount only? How long is the mount? Do you have a side picture showing it attached to the windshield?

If I'm understanding correctly, it sounds like you tell the device how many gallons you put it? If that's the case, then it's simple to compute your average MPG since it already should know the distance you drove since the last time you did this. And, the value shown would be correct, not an "estimate".
