Head lights

How do you turn off the daytime driving lights and still have lights at night

You can pull the DRL relay ( R201 ) from the aux relay box on the driver's side fender, in the engine compartment.

It will look something like this



Page 230 in your owners manual has the picture and layout for your MY ( this is a 06 MY, 04 & 05 look slightly different ).

If you did not get an owners manual with your truck ( purchased used ), you can download one from Ford :

The SJB ( Smart Junction Box ) would need to be programmed to turn off the DRL option.

The SJB controls the headlamp functions in solid state, no relay ore external resistors for this.

Sorry, it is a trip to a dealer or service stations ( with the equipment & know how ) to turn off the DRLs.
