Turn signals not working in my f150

My turn signals do not work all the time. Is there a flasher switch like there used to be in older cars? I just get a fast clicking noise from both signals.

Yes there is a flasher.

do the hazards work when the turn signals do not work ?

Can you post some info on your truck, or complete your profile.

I have a 1999 ford f150 styleside extended cab pickup., with a 4.6 liter v-8. The flashers work fine but the turn signals do not. I've replaced the switches in older cars when they were near the fuse box. not sure where it is located now. It doesn't matter what position the tilt stearing wheel is in.

For your 99 MY, take a look at this thread

https://www.f150online.com/forums/el...l-lowered.html

It shows the connector that could be pulled apart, causing the turn signals not to flash.

This is the easy 1st check, could be the MFS, which is the next thing to check ( I am guessing it is the MFS, but don't want to send you on a wild goose chase ).

The flasher is the same for both the hazards and the turn signals, so it is not that.
