Fog light control

I have what looks to be factory installed fog lamps on an 01 F350 DRW but cannot find a way to turn them on. They have factory wiring and bulbs are good. I get no power to them when the headlight switch is on. There is a indicator with a down arrow at the end of the switch but the switch does not rotate past the headlight position. This truck has the standard rotating light switch with "off" "parking" and "headlights". I have read in other threads that it may not have the right switch but it all seems to be factory. There are no other switches for lights on the dash.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With my switch I turn it to the headlight position and then pull for the fogs.
2003 F150. Should be the same.

Try pulling the switch out when the parking lights or headlights are on. I have an 07 F150 and I'm not certain if Ford follows the majority of it's functions with different payload classes or years, but with mine, you'd turn the knob left one click for parking lights, left another click for headlights, then pull it back for fog lights.

after you use them (pull out as mentioned)... try searching for the foglight mod. I love it.

2001 SuperDuty is like the 97-03 MY F-150s, the switch has to be turned to the headlamp position, and pulled out to activate the fog lamps.
Page 26 of your owners manual shows the usage of them.

In case you got short changed on the owners manual, you can download a PDF version from Ford.

Not sure if the ramp mod like the F-150 is the same as the switch for the 2001 SuperDuty line, for being able to turn the fog lamps on with the parking lamps only ( and they stay on with the high beams ).

The Yahoo site from FedEx Pilot is now down ( he warned about this ~ 3 years ago ), so the searches for fog light mod might point to this URL. Think there is another site that has the directions also, search would point to it, maybe use advanced search for the term, and ascending in the display options ?

Thanks to all the replies. I checked it and it works as described. I also downloaded the manual (did not have one) from the supplied link. Thanks again.
