92 F150 Passenger Rear stop lamp/turn signal malfunction

Howdy,

I just bought a 92 F150 yesterday and I'm trying to fix the lighting on it so I can drive it and get it all legal.

The passenger rear lighting isnt working correctly, I dont have a manual or a haynes book for the truck yet.

If I turn on the headlights the light comes on.

If I brake the left lamp illuminates but not the right.

If I turn on the hazards the left lamp illuminates but not the right.

So it looks like I've got a fault, I replaced the bulb already and it did not correct the issue.

Where should I look harness wise for things like loose connectors or stuff like tail light failure sensors or hazard relays to try to further diagnose this?

I'm not used to brake lights sharing a wire with turn signals which is what this setup appears to be.

Possibly related, the license plate lights dont work either.

Click my tan CV in my sig and read thru the Steering Column album to access the MFS for testing:

The license bulbs often corrode their terminals, or just burn out. Reach behind the bumper, twist & pull the rubber bulb holder out of the blister. Or all of these light problems could be due to a trailer connector near the rear bumper, so look around.
