Another Power Window Issue

Although this issue is on a 95 Taurus, I'm hoping someone here can help. The left rear window won't go down. Pulled the door panel. Have power to both sides of the connector going to the motor. Unbolted the motor, motor will run in up direction but not down. Tried two other used motors with same result. Up but no down. When I put a volt meter on the connector leads for the motor, on the one lead when I press up I get 12.45 and when I press down I get .95. On the other lead when press down I get 12.45 and when I press up I get 11.95. Pulled the panel off the right side rear door and checked the leads at the connector. On both leads i got 12.45 one way and between .5 & 1.1 the otherway. Anyone have any clues?

Thanks

More Info: From the driver's door switch, motor does not run in either direction, but have power on both sides of switch. Why do I get the feeling I have a broken wire in the harness from the front left to rear left switch?

Without having a circuit diagram, I think you've pretty much nailed it! Your descriptions sound like bad wiring to me, both of them. No advice except to trace the wiring all the way. Good luck! This can be a real pain.
