Viper Alarm OPINION PLEASE!

THIS IS MY FIRST TIME RESEARCHING ALARMS...GOT A QUOUTE ON THIS

viper 5901 WITH PROXIMITY SENSOR AND TILT SWITCH WITH, AND THE BYPASS FOR THE REMOTE START

$395 INSTALLED

GOOD PRICE???

yeah!!!! I've been looking at the 5901 and the lowest I can find for it installed is 680 for just the alarm (which includes the remote start) and the Pats bypass system. Those other parts cost more. Where are you getting it from?

I'm guessing you meant: "Can't go wrong ..."?

Is this the alarm with the transmitter that tells you there's a problem if your truck's some distance away so you can go check on it? If so, the price seems like a steal.

It isn't going to be an authorized DEI dealer/install then. I paid 238 for mine plus about 50 for the bypass and did a self install with a freind. I knew I was forgoing the warranty by doing this but if you want a legit install with warranty you are going to have to pay.

That's an outstanding price... Grab it before they change their minds... I love my Viper... The auto start is absolutely amazing during the cold winter months... I am able to start my truck while still inside the building where I work several hundred yards away... It's nice to get into a warm rig on cold winter days...
