Air Bag Code 18

Howdy all,

I have an '06 Lariat Edition King cab that just recently started flashing an air bag code 18. Anyone know what that is? Trusk is still under electrical warranty, I'd just like to know before I go, ya know? Thx.

Did you have your center console out as of late, for something like an audio upgrade. Shows as the PAD circuit

Ok, my depth of knowledge on this is nil. What is a PAD curcuit. yes I did have the center out to reconnect the flip down DVD viewer for the rear passengers. I'm the second owner, and there were a few mods done, prior to me, LOL. All 've done is add a Cobra 29 CB.

Sorry about thatT
The PAD lamp ( circuit ) is the Passenger Airbag Deactivation lamp, just above the radio.

I am in a lack of coffee fog ( this AM ) , but I thought it turned on and went off when you first started the truck. ( I cannot recall if it does right now for 100% sure ).

It could be the wires got pinched, or it is not plugged in well / at all.
