Is there anyway i can pull the fuse that controls the alert sound in my truck so it does not beep?

my truck got broken into and my radio was stolen, and when the thug was taking the dash off they tore the wires leading to the airbag indicator light.

so now every time i start my truck after about one min. it will stat beeping for about a min, i guess its telling me the wires are not connected anymore. If i am driving for a long period of time the beeping comes on ever 40 min or so and is very annoying. Ive tried to replace to connector but do not know where to find a replacement. The ford dealership was no help. Here is what the connector looks like

So I thought my other option would be to pull the fuse to make it stop beeping, i just have no idea where or what fuse it would be

You can't "restick" the wire that were torn off to the connector again? Maybe try a junkyard to see if you can find a connector on an F150.

I tried but the wires were pulled all the way out of the metal pins inside the connector, i have tried to find replacement metal pins but radioshack or autozone have nothing for that

Not sure what you mean by "the wires were pulled all the way out of the metal pins inside the connector"

If the wires were broken off, remove the pins from the connector, resolder the wires back on, and put them back into the connector.

Not sure why your local dealer was no help, the Connector # is C2286, which shows the wire harness of 14401. I am not sure how much wire this is, or what it includes. You are not going to find this exact connector alone at a Ford dealer.

You can try the Motorcraft pigtail catalog, to see if you can find a pin that is similar, but you would be removing the pins, and soldering the wire onto your truck's harness, and putting it back into the same connector.

Same advice as ELVATO, try a junk yard in your area for it.

The audible alarm is not on a fuse, so give up that idea.

BTW : Don't cross post in 2 forums

Then you either do not have them soldered together correctly, or you have a burnt out bulb.

The self test on the lights, the PAD should illuminate.

I just twisted the wires together to test it so see if that worked before going through the trouble of soldering them together, maybe that could be the problem?? And do I get the bulb from radioshack or ford? Thanks for all your help so far
