Power Window fuse question
The windows on my '01 f150 sc stopped working, up and dn and from
switches on both doors. I did get the windows up by jumping wires(+&-_ to the separated connector on each side. Using a voltmeter,there does not appear to be any coming out of the switches. I need to locate the fuse and relay that feed the power
to the switches. Every other accessory is working, so it seems that a plus and/or minus(ground)voltage is not reaching just the switches. I hope I am on track to solve this problem.
Has anyone tried this schematic service? I will try it.

The CB for the Power windows is in the Battery Junction Box ( under the hood ).
If SC means Supercab, it is position 110, if SC means SuperCrew, it is position 601.
The Driver's side switch is power for all windows, on both sides, so if there is a problem with it, it can look like a blown fuse.
On thing to check when you have the Driver's side switch out, is to check for power on the light blue w/ black stripe wire while the key is in the run position.
On the connector, this is pin #4.
Testing here to ground will let you know if power is making it to the door.

SCULLY: Thanks for that good info. This afternoon I had a clue from a Haynes manual which showed aschematic of the power windows in which it looked like a 30 amp fuse in the "power distribution box" fed thru the "acc delay
relay", but it did not give the location in the box (the f150 is
a 2001 LTX Supercab). So I looked in there for a 30 amp fuse and
saw a maxi-fuse that appeared burned,extracted it, and did a
continuity test between its terminals----flunked. With a new one
($5.00) in there windows work like new. Later, when I came in and saw your reply, the location as 110 would have led me directly to the burned maxi-fuse. What had also confused me was not
realizing that power to the switches had to come thru the acc
delay relay during key on position as well as during delay time.
Can you tell me the source (manual?) fro which your posted
diagrams came? Thanks....
