Ok i have a 2004 New body style and i am in the process of putting on some fog lights. Well i had the whole thing wired up and i left one of the connectors bare on sheet metal. Well i hooked the switch up to my radios switched +12v and i think i shorted the radio. Its an aftermarket Alpine and i really hope i didn't fry it! i looked at the fuses and my trucks owners manual said to check two fuses (one for radio start up and one for radio power and they both checked out ok). I pulled out the voltmeter and the constant power wire has 12v when the vehicle is off and no volts when the vehicle is on. normal. The switched wire to the head unit has no power ever, truck on or off, so that leads me to believe its a fuse or something or the switched +12v wire but i have no idea what fuse it could be. Help please?
