Trailer Lights

Trailer Lights
I own a 98 F150, just wondering if there are 2 fuses on my truck. I have tail lights on my trailer, but no brake lights nor any turn signals? Just being curious if there is a fuse for my tail lights, and a fuse for both turn signals and brake lights for my trailer? When i apply my brakes the brake lights on my trailer doesnt come on neither does my turn signals on my trailer. i just bought the trailer today and its a brand new trailer. They tested the trailer lights, turn signal and brake lights and it all worked, but when they hooked it up to my truck only thing i had was running lights? Can anyone help me with this question. Thanks

Yes there is a separate fuse for the Turn signals / Stop lamps, and Ford did a number in 1998 with the owners manual, by not pointing out the location for some reason.
Under the hood there is a minifuse panel just behind the Battery Junction Box ( engine bay fuse panel )
In this picture, you can see the lid is off of it, with the red base, and the 2 fuses sticking up:
Here is the page from the 1997 owners manual, showing what the 2 fuses are :
There is also a separate panel that the relays are in, which I have yet to find the location information on, that shows where each trail tow relay is at.
I can only pontificate why this info was ommited from the '98 owners manual.
Hope this is the problem, good luck let us know how things turn out.
