You do not make note if you have a 4x4 or 4x2, I am going to guess you have a 4x4.
Take a look at the Owners Manual on page 243, it shows where the DRL relay is at, or if you have a 4x4, where to place the 1/2 size ISO relay to disable the DRLs. This is in the Aux Relay box under the hood, on the Driver's side fender. Just to the front and below where the factory air intake is at.
The 1/2 size ISO relay you can get at places like AutoZone or at the dealer, if you want to pay 8.00 more for the same thing.
To test with a 4x4, if you have the factory tow package, you can use the trailer tow park lamps relay from the pass compartment fuse panel, this is a 1/2 size ISO relay.

Did you check that the DRL relay is installed ?
Did the block look like the 4x4 version, or the 4x2 version ?
