wiring back up cam

I am planning on picking up a keyed power for my back up cam from my radio wiring harness. I have the kenwood 7015 and a xm commander allready powered from there. Is this a good or bad idea, I plan on putting a small inline fuse in also?

Thanks for the help.

Can't imagine that the camera draws much curent... anytime you add new equipment there will be specs. for it in the owner's manual. That will determine your electrical requirements.
