the simplest way to disable the key chime is to remove the key cylinder, slide a piece of tape between the key in sense switch contacts, and to reinstall the key cylinder. if you ever need to restore the operation, just remove the piece of tape.

Buzzer

Thanks to those of you that where kind in the response, yes I do have the parking sensor on the vehicle, is that linked to the same buzzer?
Sorry to have offend you mtylerb, I am new to the site and am not quite clear on how to post or find info efficiently yet. Apparently you have nothing better to do then monitor the question section. Always has to be someone)

Parking aid speaker is different than the warning chime speaker.

Do you want this is be off all the time, or per usage.

1. The door switch with a switch, but the the dome light won't come on ( few have been doing this on the 99-03 MY trucks

2. A single use off for the chime, but this requires a bit more wiring, and a relay, but would have the per time usage that resets when the truck is shut off.

3. Disable at the ign ( never work again )

I took my gauge cluster apart and unsoldered the piezo buzzer, and removed it.
