C&C Ford Philly Burbs.....

Got a 2005 F150 Ext cab on a friday afternoon new.Sunday morn I open up all the doors and wipe down every thing and what do I find?A big crack in the door panel. The crack is all the way thru the panel and its all the way foreward on the panel the part that is unseen with the door closed its hidden by dash.I go monday at 9am to the dealer that sold it to me.Wait 30 min for sales manager. He looks at it and has a sales guy take me and truck to see body shop.
Body shop guy cant make the call to fix or not.Sales guy takes me and truck to service manager.Service manager looks at it and says damn thats a big crack. He takes my keys and heads back inside.I have a smoke and wait 20 min at the truck.Nothing.I go inside this has taken over an hour at this point, service manager is at sales managers desk looking at a PC.I walk up and ask whats going on?Service manager says "we are looking to see if you have the damage waiver on your lease"?I know what a damage waiver is,it covers you for up to $2500 dollars worth of damage at the end of the lease.I know I have it I paid extra $350 for it.They say no you dont have it I say bull****.Its now over 2 hours I have wasted on this and Im getting pissed off.The sales and service managers say you dont have the waiver so we need the truck manager to look at it,He will be with you in 10min or so.I wait 45min we are now into 3 hours here.He is a no show and I went to the service manager 4 times and he paged him to no avail.I this point I just left.I go home and call fords customer line. The girl that answered the phone was very nice and after I told her the story she was just as pissed as I was.She called the dealer while I was on hold. With in 5min she came back and said the service manager said he is sorry for the run around you got and call for an apoint to have the part replaced at his loss and I am noteing this in this truck file just in case you need it later. Its not that it was damaged that makes me mad things will happen its just life. Its the fact that they were only thinking about if they HAD to fix it and never thought if they SHOULD fix it.Its new its broken fix it seems simple to me.I now have to get this fixed, resign all the paper work and there are other issues with this thing as well.I did have the damage waiver but it never made it into the paper work.It took 4 phone calls and sitting in the finance office for 2 hours for them to find the paper that said I did. They were being *** holes the whole time like it was my fault.I tell you this is one bass ackwards place.I would not visit this place if you can avoid it.I had the truck a few days and they tried to blow me off and not do any thing to make it rite.I just know that if I let them when I turn this thing in at the end of the lease they would have charged me for the damage and the waiver would not have been on the paper work and I would have been screwed.Im stuck dealing with them for the needed repairs and I hate it.The trucks going in next week and I have warned them they better have a loaner or else.

We all get the " treatment " from some where !
I've been thru this at fred beans and hopkins and two other dealers with a GMC and belive me it sucks ! The worst was at bergeys but you will never get me in there again ( not even if they gave it to me ! ) 14,000 miles , 4 trany's , 2 computers , the 4x4 accuator and belt tensioner , and they crushed the oil pan and would not stop the leak ! Like a rock ....?what a crock.....
So I've been there and then some !

BUT ( nock on wood !) now with a 99 f150 S cab 74,800 miles and love it !

You are a Ford owner not a stockholder in c&c so go to any dealer you want !
I use only yocum or norristown but you'll find that the factory rep is the only responsible person ! So call if the problems get too bad .
And you get more Bees with honey ! They don't like being yelled at either !
Good luck !

J S in Lansdale !
